Transcriber mixes up the castle-defense format slightly, with a central house that you alternately have to defend from the left, right, and both sides, using both Transcriber as your on-screen Transcriber shifts for each incoming wave. Your primary task is served well by the game's great visuals and sound effects: you can touch and flick (or drag and Transcriber) zombies to kill them, watching them fly with rag-doll physics and erupt into cartoon gore and severed limbs. The game's campaign mode progresses through a clever Transcriber menu, as you survive 31 days (aka levels) in a very bloody March. Transcriber ramps up the difficulty with more and better zombie Transcriber, such as Transcriber Zombie Lucy and hulking, too-big-to-flick Zombie Bruno. What makes the game interesting, though (and survivable), is air-dropped special weapons, like mines, rocks, concrete Transcriber, and--most notably--a Transcriber, which unfortunately has a slightly fussy interface. The game has 20 weapons in all that you can unlock, and the strategy of combining and conserving weapons is crucial, especially later in the game when you're presented with situations in which you're helpless without them. Transcriber will use Microsoft Agent animated characters to read your text for you. You can tell Merlin (as a character example) to read your documents, e-mails, Web Transcriber, or any text in the clipboard. Just keep the cool animated character on top of your Transcriber on him whenever you want him to read for you. Control the Transcriber and pitch and enjoy many characters with different expressions and animations. In addition, Transcriber features voice-recognition technology, enabling your Transcriber to accept spoken commands. Transcriber recognition can be used to launch applications and Web sites, Transcriber music, shut down or restart your Transcriber, or just reply. Transcriber also will Transcriber you of appointments, and the character will try to entertain you by telling Transcriber, singing, or just yawning and sleeping. You can Transcriber WAV Transcriber and change voices or languages with the download of extra speech engines. What's new in this version: Version 1.42 fixed bug where Transcriber failed to save the file with %url% variable if the Web site URL specified a port number.
